What Is The S-Class?

S-Class is the certification for organisations who have achieved the Business Excellence Niche Standard (Service).
In other words, S-Class is national recognition for organisations that have management systems and processes in place to achieve service excellence.

What Types Of Businesses Have Been Awarded S-Class?

S-Class has been awarded to businesses of all types and sizes.
S-Class is particularly relevant to businesses whose success depends greatly on delighting customers.

You can use the S-Class logo on all your collaterals.
The logo is a mark of excellence that shows your business:
- consistently delights customers
- delivers unparalleled customer experiences
- creates business value through customer service

You adopt and strive to meet the Business Excellence Niche Standard (Service).
When you are confident you have achieved it, apply for the certification online.
SPRING Singapore will assign certified assessors to evaluate your systems and processes.
S-Class assessment is based on the criterion in the Service Scorecard for Business Excellence (Service Scorecard) self-assessment tool.
If you score at least 400 out of 1,000 points in the assessment, you will be awarded the S-Class.
If you score 700 or more points, you will also be short listed for the Service Excellence Award.

You need to continuously ensure that your management and systems are working well.
SPRING Singapore will conduct a mid-term review 1½ years after you have been awarded S-Class. Please refer to the Mid-Term Review Guide for details.
3 years after your certification, you will need to renew your certification. Please refer to the Renewal Application Form and Guide for details.

All manufacturing companies applying for Manufacturing Excellence Award (MAXA) must also apply for Singapore Quality Class (SQC).
