Singapore’s non-oil domestic exports (NODX) grew by 5.8% on-year in July 2012.
International Enterprise (IE) Singapore reported that the growth was led by exports of telecommunications equipment, integrated circuits and parts.
On a year-on-year basis, total trade increased by 2.9%, compared to 2.7% the previous month.
However, on a month-on-month basis, exports in July were slower at 3.6%, compared to the previous month's 6.7% expansion.
The top contributors to July's growth were Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea.
