A new S$5 million Aviation Promotion Programme has been launched to help Singapore companies make their presence known internationally at trade shows and business campaigns.
The programme is a bid by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) to promote Singapore as an aviation hub.
More industry-Government collaboration should make it easier for local aviation companies to expand their overseas presence, said the Ministry of Transport (MOT).
In addition to the Aviation Promotion Programme, CAAS will also expand its existing Aviation Innovation Programme to help local companies be more productive, competitive and resource efficient.
CAAS also said it would launch more programmes to develop and expand the manpower in the sector.
