Step-by-Step guide on applying for the grant

Before you apply

  1. Learn more about International Business Fellowship (iBF) Programme on the International Enterprise (IE) website.
  2. Ensure your business qualifies for the programme.
    Contact IE Singapore if you need help understanding the programme.

Applying for the grant

  1. Apply for the relevant iBF programme: 
    Executive Programme  Check the Executive Programme Schedule and register for the course directly with the organiser. 
    Postgraduate Programme  Applications for the scholarship are open from 1 – 31 March every year. Contact IE Singapore for the application form.

    If shortlisted, IE Singapore will contact the applicant for an interview and discussion on the application 
    Undergraduate Programme  Ask your potential intern to apply through their university.

Upon successful application

  1. Receive confirmation from IE Singapore:
    Executive Programme  Receive email confirmation upon successful registration. Pay the remaining 30% payment for the course fees.

    For selected markets, you will receive a Letter of Offer from IE Singapore for airfare and accommodation support. 
    Postgraduate Programme  Receive a Letter of Offer from IE Singapore. The terms and conditions as well as grant amount are stated in the Letter. 
    Undergraduate Programme Your potential intern will be notified through his/her university. 
  2. Send your company executive for the course or start the undergraduate internship with your intern.
  3. Keep proper financial records.
    E.g. expenses, invoices, receipts relating to the project.

Claiming for funds

  1. You need to claim funds for the Executive and Postgraduate Programme:
    Executive Programme  Submit your claim form and supporting documents to IE Singapore for the airfare and accommodation support (for selected markets).  
    Postgraduate Programme Submit your claim form and supporting documents to IE Singapore.  
    Undergraduate Programme   Cost of living is co-funded by IE Singapore and the university.
